Deposit unreleased!!!

I hired a vehicle at Thrifty through the OR Tambo airport branch on 31 July - 02 August 2020. The deposit hold was effected on 31 July 2020 as per rental agreement. The vehicle was returned on 2 Aug 2020 as agreed. A few days later an amount was deducted from my account without me even having received an invoice in this regard. I understood it was for extra kms and fuel and had no problem with this but wanted an invoice to see the extra charges, as would make ethical business sense. I then enquired when the deposit hold would be released and was informed it takes up to 7 days. Today is day 12 and the deposit release has not been effected. The customer care line rings ad nauseum and I am not getting proper feedback on when my funds will be released.

Safe to say I will not be doing any business with this company again.
