Deposit refund not paid

Still waiting for Holding deposit to be refunded, being held over a week, I have sent emails to Melissa and Shikaar as I was told it has been approved by the head office but not payment received. Is this company generating getting interest for clients money that they hold so long? Is this a proper business practice? Terrible customer service. for about 5 times they don't respond to emails.
