Breach of contract with poor customer service

I hired a vehicle through Thrifty on the 14th of February and returned it on the 20th of February. The lady at the Port Elizabeth branch assured me that I would receive the R6000 deposit back in two days after the vehicle return. Not only that, but upon paying the deposit, she initially said R5000 and when signing the paperwork, she said oh sorry it's an additional R1000. Three days after returning the car, the Johannesburg office told me it takes 7-10 working days for the deposit to be returned. Why the discrepancy in staff member's communication to clients? Basically the poorly trained, ********* staff member, Charmaine at the PE branch **** to me which I do not appreciate it. I then called her at 3:30pm four days after the vehicle return and she said she would call me back and naturally, in line with her level of service, did not. I did not have money in my account and Thrifty debits R456 after I returned the vehicle, putting my account in arreas and giving me a poor credit rating, with the audacity not to let me know why they have taken money from my account. I then complained via twitter but have received no resolution or a courtesy call from anyone at the South african offices for Thrifty. It is now almost a month and if according to Thrifty, it takes 7-10 business days to return a deposit, then there has been a major breach of agreement as I have not yet received my deposit back OR feedback around why R456 was debited off my account - it is completely poor business acumen to take money from a client without reason or communication with that client. I am taking this further and have had it with poor service, poorly trained staff, lies and a lack of communication from this highly inefficient company.
