Billed for petrol when car was full
We collected a vehicle on 10/08/15 at Cape Town airport from Thrifty. It took over half an hour to get all the paperwork processed, there was no one to assist us initially and several insurance items selected on the online booking were not added. Eventually the paperwork was done and when we went to the vehicle we saw that it was quite an old vehicle that was badly scratched already.

When dropping the vehicle off on 16/08/15, we filled it up at the BP at the airport and drove straight to the rental depot (not even 2km). We didn't receive any further communication and assumed all was fine until we were billed R170.06 on our credit card without any communication whatsoever. When querying it we were told it was for petrol and the Admin Manager emailed us the \fuel slip".

What he sent was a fuel order form for Thrifty themselves dated 17/08/16 and not an actual petrol station slip. We sent our BP fuel slip to him on Friday"
