Bad service

My friends and I hired a Car from Dollar thriffty at King Shaka international airport on 26 November 2018 to 1 December 2018, upon collection the Car had scratches and they noted that and say we should not worry because minor damages are not considered and they won’t penalize us for that.

Then we agreed and took off, before we could leave the airport we noticed that the car was not on full tank and reported it, they took s to the nearest filling station to fill the tank but still the patrol gage was malfunctioning showing that the car is still not full. They said we should not worry and bring the car as it is.

To our surprise when we return the Car they claim they didn’t know all about that and said we should sign some documents to confirm that we got the car at that state.

We had no choice but to sign coz our flight was going to leave us behind if we don’t rush to the airport.

Ok now they refund us R700 instead of R2000 because we damaged the Car, guess what the damage is those scratches they call minor and they don’t charge for that, the same scratches we reported when we collect the Car.

We need help here.
