Bad Service

Rented a vehicle from Thrifty Car Rental Sandton branch, 04 March 2022 for 2 Days and on the last day requested an extension for 2 extra days and on the extension days I was debited accordingly on the first day and on the last day I was triple debited.

I enquired and when dropping the car and was advised to send an email to their Sandton Depo, I did that. 5 days later I contacted them to enquire on the status and was advised to send bank statement which I did and they noted the mistake and advised that it will be discussed with the manager on the 16th March I called their call centre and was advise that it will be escalated.

17 March I follow up with a call where the contact centre lady just rudely stated I should wait and they will get back to me when they get to my contract.

This was literally no way to speak to their customer even where you get profiled by your name and spoken in all different languages besides your prefered language.

This was just a wake up call never to book a car with Thrifty.
