BAd Experience renting Car From Thrifty Car Rentals

On Friday 25 March my friend Lawrence Kourie fetched a car at about 16h00 from Thrifty Car Rentals at Lanseria. He picked up a small white Toyoya which was in excellent condition and I drove down to Paul Pietersburg without any hassles, Unfortunately, Saturday morning the car did not want to start and he had to push it to get it started. The whole reason for his trip down to Paul Pietersburg was to visit his sick and old mother who needs a wheelchair to move around so you can imagine he could not take the chance to pick her up and drive around. To be honest he could not use the car again the weekend and on his way back had to push the car himself from a robot to get it going again. The only time on his way back where he got out of the car, nature was calling and he had to pay someone to sit outside and watch the car because he could not switch it off.

I understand that these types of things happen but I also feel that he should be credited for the money paid to rent the car and at the very least get some feedback. I have sent 4 mails now to different people at Thrifty and has not even received confirmation that email was recieved.
