30 days and counting no refund yet of my deposit from Thrifty car rental
My ref no. is # ********** or RJ ********** 5757. I am so disappointed with thrifty car rentals. I hired a car from the OR Tambo international franchise/branch on the 3rd of February 2019 for 2 days while my car was being serviced and returned it as per agreement with a full tank filled right there at the OR Tambo Garage. I was told to pay R2000 deposit refundable in 7 days. Of course, I didn't receive the deposit back so I emailed them and I received an email from Rowan Anthony 10 days ago claiming that payment has been released but my bank has confirmed that nothing has come through. The email from Rowan reflected that my complaint was low priority (Really!!!). I need the name and number of the person who authorised the payment so that my bank can get more information to trace the "alleged" payment.
Please be advised that the deposit will not reflect as a transaction as the funds were frozen in your account, when the funds are released you will not get a notification, your bank balance will increase by the amount that was released. A email was sent directly to you with the contact person in the rental location of whom assists with deposit releases as requested.
