3 Weeks wait to get R6000 holding deposit back, not 4-7 days like promised.

I rented a vehicle from Thrifty OR Thambo, pick-up on 21.12.2020 and returned on 24.12.2020. All documentation can be provided, car was returned on time, with full tank etc. as required. I was contacted via mail stating that my details can not be found on the system. Hence, my deposit of R6000 could not be returned? I then (re)completed the forms and returned them, asking when I can expect my deposit. A very vague “basically when we decided to do it” was the response. I then asked for clarification, and I am yet to receive a response. I then submitted a complaint via their ticketing system and via email, again without any response. This is the only car rental company that fiscally withdraw the holding deposit from your card. No hold anymore. Quoted from their website, "If you are a local customer and have recently booked your Thrifty Car Rental with us, please allow up to 4-7 working days, upon the return of your vehicle, for your deposit to reflect back into your account. …" I have now been waiting for 21 days (3 WEEKS!) for my deposit, and what makes it worse is the absolute silence from their side like I am moaning about pocket change... R6000 for 3 weeks, absolutely absurd! Ticket ***
