21 days for a deposit refund???

I rented a vehicle from Thrifty Somerset West, which was returned on the 31st January in immaculate condition. The deposit payment I was charged was R9500 because I paid by debit card. When I returned the vehicle, the reservation agent says it will take 21 days for me to receive my refund? 21 days are you serious??

Your website and other legal documents state: If you are a local customer and have recently booked your Thrifty Car Rental with us, please allow up to 4-7 working days, upon the return of your vehicle, for your deposit to reflect back into your account.

Your envelope states: Debit & cheque cards: Processed by Dollar Thrifty within a maximum of 7 working days from termination of rental (bank details must be provided).

Can you clarify why what is written on your legal documents is different to what you verbally tell your clients? I willl not wait 21 days for my money to be paid back to me- it's unheard of!
