DNR Assist - Delays your Roadside assistance for Storage and additional Charge to your Insurance.

Its my opinion, that this company delays pick up of your stranded vehicle so that they can tow your vehicle into their storage yard and receive double towing charges.

a. Yesterday we received confirmation via SMS of the breakdown at 14.57. Despite numerous calls they arrived only at 16.30. I told them that the repairer closes at 17.00 and I will not allow the car going into storage from the first call before they arrived. They assured me the tow truck was 30min away. It took them 90min. They insisted to take the car into storage, I declined saying elderly people know the tricks they are play. When the car goes to storage anyone can then do all sorts of stuff to your car. They left saying they will return at 6.30am to take the car to the repair center by 7am. I called the repairer in front of them and made arrangements.

b. This morning they arrived around 6.20 and left 6.35 as per tracker. An hour later I checked my tracking and found my car new Clairwood Jacobs an industrial dangerous part of Durban. Frantically, I called MSURE towing and DNR Towing. M-SURE advised that they get paid double if the vehicle is taken into storage. I immediately called DNR and they apologized and agreed to take my car to the repairer immediately. I asked for the manager and director to return my call. This never materialized.

I needed my car back by Friday as we have a family December Holiday planned this weekend and their actions has delayed the repair

Disappointing that all this , just to receive a double towing pay from my Insurer M-SURE, they are playing the system. M-Sure is a fantastic company and should like this to be reviewed by M- Sure management.
