Slow Processing Led to missing tax breaks

Hi,

I recently topped up my Discovery Retirement Annuity in mid Feb this year to take advantage of the tax breaks. However, when I pull my report, I see that the investment was only processed on 1st March 2021. I will now have to pay thousands more in tax because of this. My appointed financial advisor at Discovery even assured me several times that it would be processed before the tax year end(end Feb 2021). I even called him to follow up and he assured me again not to worry.

This is unacceptable. I won't invest every again if this is not rectified.
