I was contacted by a financial advisor Nikhil Haripershad, He promised to cancel my previous short term insurance and investment and move it over to Discovery, He quickly moved over my portfolio and they deducted the money, only to find out my other policies were never cancelled and also deducted. When I wanted my money back he said they cannot refund it. I even asked him 2 weeks before the debit date that I do not want to be double debited. He confirmed it will not happen. I spoke with his senior Advisor Eben and he said he will call back, one week later not one word from him. This is poor, my other policies are now cancelled and DIscovery has not refunded my money. They have now placed me in a very difficult position as I do not have vehicle cover and my RA of 5 years is being disinvested.
