I alerted discovery invest about two weeks ago regarding an error they made on my tax directive for an annuity pay out. I can’t file my tax returns due to this error made by the person who submitted the tax documents with two different tex source codes. SARS is rejecting my return due to this. The cut off date by sars is 30 July 2024. Alas… after two weeks of back and forth Discoverg is apologising for the error and telling me that they will still investigate the matter. I am wondering how this investigation will assist me in complying with SARS on a return I can’t file due to an administrative issue made by Discovery.
