Discovery payout into wrong accounts, followed by misuse of contact infomration
I'm a beneficiary of a Discovery Invest policy as an inheritance from a deceased family member. The policy paid out to all the beneficiaries recently.
During this process, both I and my spouse submitted forms with our personal contact information and whatever else they requested to proceed with the payout.
First of all, I and another beneficiary were mistaken for each other, even though our names are not even remotely similar. Not even our last names.
We received an "apology letter" from "Lumka Mbatha" apparently the competent enough person to be the "Payments Team Leader".
In this letter, both of us were addressed by name and ID number in order to apologize for the mixup, and the explanation read: "This unfortunate experience has helped us identify a problem in our processes which has now been highlighted as an area to improve on". ( you think? )
To top off an already watered-down letter full of idiosyncrasies. Both our names were wrong again in the letter. We had to settle the balances of said payments out amongst ourselves...
Shortly thereafter, both I and my spouse started getting daily marketing spam phone calls from Discovery hot-dialing every day to try and sell more of their garbage service, and strangely enough, when I answer my phone... the person phoning asks to speak to, wait for it, the same name that was mistakenly given to me during their "mixups", ignoring the fact that a mixup would entail swapping two people mistakenly, but in this case, even renaming two people at the same time.
So they made no use of our ID documentation that would have made our identities clear enough to not make the mistake, yet the only thing they find useful is my phone number to spam me on a daily basis.
So the rather obvious glitch in your admin system dear Lumka Mbatha, is that reading is essential when administering large financial payments, furthermore having realized how obtuse you were by not doing so in the first place, still found it idiotic enough to write a "letter of apology" without so much as glancing at our ID documentation in order to get our names right the second time.
To whoever reads this, these are the halfwits you're trusting to pay your funds over and read long account numbers.... so think about it...
Thank you for brining the above matter to our attention.
For the protection of your personal information, we will contact you on the contact details provided regarding this matter.

The point of this post is to stop you from phoning me, yet you now request a non-written conversation where you’re going to retract my phone numbers from all the lists in the hands of infringement *********, like Discovery, that it’s already been listed on? Is that what you were going to suggest? Id prefer communication that I can read and report back the contradictions in your communication and share it.
So please spare me your “thoughts and prayers” verbal template, the last one was pointless, and you pay someone to do that.
Furthermore, do tell me all about your privacy in work ethics and client services, I had a taste of your client services and that didn’t work either.
I also this morning spoke to two other beneficiaries of said policy, to find myself relieved yet baffled that the pecu****ities and parallels stretch beyond just my sudden harassment by Discovery, we’re all individuals who had no association with you in the past. They too are in possession of communication technology that can draw a timeline of when we started to get harassed by Discovery and its associates.
I just happened to make the connection because the harassers addressed me by the misspelled name mentioned above during the payment procedures, or whatever procedures are called when glacial mess-ups seem to follow one after the other. Also, without so much as a bit of variability; at the very least make some new mistakes rather than the same one time and again. How tiresomely such repetitive agonies must be.
The greater question now is who does Discovery share all the information they got from us, and who do those entities share it with again, and how can Discovery possibly do something about that? A telephonic conversation saying exactly nothing like the letters of apology you send without so much as contact number of the writer, we just had contact with the independent broker, that in my opinion, delivers quality service and communication in contrast to the unfortunate institution he now also had to deal with.
You have contact information other than my phone that now blocks your spam calls, so try contacting me in writing where I can have another written “blah-job” to be encrypted by my service provider so I can amend my reviews accordingly, or have a laugh…

And I know you have my email address already because I already got an email from Ntombi Lehlongoane (Executive Office Specialist, Discovery Invest Executive Office). Said email only contains the exactly as above mentioned that I don't answer your calls.
Look I have time on my hands and passive income, so I'm going to keep poking you until you respond to the above-promised correspondence.
If you're hoping that your last "We acknowledge your feedback" reply will make anyone else go through your threads think that you did, that's not going to work...
I need a human to reply to me so I can respond with a list and some other questions that accumulate the longer you ignore me...
