Discovery Invest Not Worth The Headache

First off let me indicate I am not entirely sure this complaint needs to go to Discovery Life. Whoever is in charge of Discovery Invest is where this is intended.

This is the proverbial last straw with Discovery and their management of my funds and/or Medical Aid as such.

I have/had an investment with discovery and I had wished to have it paid in full and the funds deposited to my account. Discovery only paid it in full and only when I enquired with my financial advisor and his secretary as to when my funds would reflect was it established that I now had more forms to complete. This was last week Friday 8/04.

So let me pose you with my (unasked for) situation - I now have to complete yet more forms as well as wait even longer for funds I direly need because people in Discovery couldn't be bothered to take a little extra customer care time to actually, well, CARE and do things properly.

I was going to leave writing this review until I enquired earlier today how long it will be until my funds are acquired and told because of the public holidays coming up that we're looking at end of next week most likely. I have responded as such that yes, under normal circumstances this would be the case. But mine is not a normal case. Discovery made a mess and put me in a situation I did not ask for and which would not have happened at all if people had cared to read properly.
