Discovery Invest is assisting ******** and **********

In May 2022 I received a call from a *******, who wanted to sell me the idea to invest R10,000 with them on various financial instruments, such as gold, forex, unit trusts, bitcoin etc with the puporse of making quick/huge profits. This person said that they got my details from Discovery Invest(so much for the POPI Act) and that Discovery Invest recommended me as a potential client. This ******* was from some investment house in London, but was calling from a South African Vocacom number. I rejected their proposition immediately, explaining to them that in 2019, my late mother also had a similar call from an investment firm oversees, who also claimed they got her details from Discovery Invest. She trusted them because she thought that if they got her details from Discovery Invest, they wouldn't have malicious intentions. She invested R100,000 with this firm. The whole concept was a **** and lie and she lost her money. Yesterday I get yet another call from a firm - South African number, a guy calling with a thick British accent and yet this firm is based in Hong Kong(how *****) and they also told me that they got my number from Discovery Invest. I declined and blocked the number.

Based on the information I provided, this is a very firm warning to Discovery Invest and I HIGHLY recommend that Discovery Invest gets their *** together, and have their entire firm stop distributing/referring/selling my details onto 3rd parties/other firms, because if I receive one more phone call from a similar *******, then I am going to report Discovery Invest to the FSB for ***** and contravention of the POPI Act.
