Discovery finding faults to delay changing policies

A letter, signed and dated and emailed was rejected by discovery because it was not 'dated'. Yet I emailed the letter on a specific date so how can that also be ignored as being 'dated'. The email itself is automatically dated. Yet Discovery will find a way to delay procedures and not affect changes to policies. On the other hand they boast that transactions can be done over the phone. I find this disturbing and annoying but very "Discovery"

Good day Melanie,

All contractual changes submitted to Discovery do need to be on a signed document to eliminate the possibility of *****. The document is also required to be signed as certain changes may be requested immediately, or possibly future dated depending on the client’s needs. Contractual changes done telephonically are able to be done only once our team have verified and identified the client as the correct policy holder, again to ensure our client’s details are kept confidential.

I hope this addresses your concerns,

Kind regards,

Discovery

Thats my point, the letter was signed and dated but your operative didn't bother to look at it before discarding it. Have you looked at the letter? Concerns NOT addressed
