Delay tactics

After discovering the exorbitant fees that were charged over the last few years(my own fault for trusting my financial advisor), I decided to move my funds(RA and preservation fund) to another company. The process started in November 2020. After many emails and rounds and rounds of requirements, my money is still with Discovery Invest. Fill in one set of forms and you get a reply a few days later stating that there are more forms to fill in. Surely this is taking too long?. They have all the information that they need, and continue to stall. Discovery in turn places the blame on the new company, who in turn state that they have given Discovery all the information they need. An extremely frustrating process. In the meantime, I have lost out on potential growth in my funds. Just another example of the big corporates not giving a stuff about the individual. My advice..be wary of your financial advisor. Look critically at his/her advice. Read as much as possible.
