Don't do business with any of discovery products.

Most *********** staff ever. I had a retirement annuity with discovery. It paid out in 2023. Sars requested the tax certificate and tax directive that discovery never sent to sars when the investment paid out. I made contact with discovery to retrieve the documents, I could not remember the details like address and phone number so I failed my verification. They instructed that I change all my details in order for them to assist me as it is a security risk for a policy that does not exist anymore. I filled out all the paper work sent it back with a copy of my ID and they rep**** by saying in order for them to update my details I must provide them with the old details. ***, I have no choice but to contact sars and tell them that discovery is refusing to provide me with the necessary documents and the ombudsman, I have canceled all my policies and medical aid due to your *********** staff that can't use there brains. Discovery you are pathetic and I will never recommend your services to anyone. All I want is a tax certificate so sars can stop penalizing me
