You will pay us till you DIE!!!!
<p> A broker sold me life insurance (with the card). This card is never used, but they charge me money for not using it. I have tried cancelling it before, but Discovery Card just ignored me. Now I owe them R500 plus again for fees.</p> <p> </p> <p>Today I tried cancelling the card again, except that my details are so old and outdated, as I NEVER use this card, that I could not be verified. Howard (the call centre agent), did not even try and assist me further, just told me to update my details on the system so that I could be verified.</p> <p> </p> <p>I had to obtain my log in and password, that is how old these details are. Tried to update my details, but GUESS WHAT??? For me to update my details, they require an OTP, which was sent to an incorrect number.</p> <p> </p> <p>So here is the bottom end -</p> <p>1. I can't be verified according to security questions, because my details are outdated;</p> <p>2. I can't update my details, because Discovery is sending my OTP to the wrong number;</p> <p>3. IN CONCLUSION I now have to pay them fees until I die.........</p> <p> </p> <p>How is that for a hostage situation?????</p> <p> </p> <p>All that being said, Zanele from the technical department was nice and really tried to help.</p>

So it has been a week since my post.
I was contacted by Rasigan Pillay the same day of my review. He has assisted me in having all the fees on the credit card credited and to close the account. He was at all times very professional and always gave me good feedback timeously.
