Yet another issue with Discovery miles and Takealot

I am already regretting my decision to move my Discovery Card to Discovery Bank instead of just closing it altogether. Yet again, a transaction with Takealot using Discovery Miles went south. Takealot deducted the miles and then tried to charge me full price. They later cancelled the order, but took the miles anyway. Now I am being treated like a ******** and having to prove that the miles were taken. The consultant I dealt with made all sorts of promises, but now doesn't respond to my emails. I cannot get the miles back, despite sending Discovery a full email trail of the cancelled transaction. Do yourself a favour, don't fall for Discovery's bull about their 'wonderful' miles benefits. They're a complete joke.
