Worthless as a bank
I have been trying since October 2020 to close this account. I have two separate emails stating that the account is now closed but I am still receiving statements and the statements still reflect charges. The website does not provide a number that can be called from an international phone. No responses to email requests, utterly useless.

I'm not certain why I had to raise a complaint on Hello Peter before I received this information or why none of the call centre people I spoke to could give me this information. At no point did I suggest that I may want to keep the account going and my expectation was that the account would be closed. I am writing off the 7 months' charges that have gone through my account since I asked for the account to be closed since the hassle of trying to reach anyone is more than what what amount is worth to me.
So there is no confusion, if there was a bank run by ********* I would be more likely to open an account with them than to ever look at Discovery Bank again.
