Will Never Trust Them Again
This complaint is just to inform that Discovery Bank does what it pleases with the money in your credit card. Back when the Discovery Credit card was part of FNB, FNB paid by mistake funds into the card. Just after this happened the card got migrated to Discovery Bank hence they are separate to FNB, and this was stated to me that the tow banks are referent and has nothing to do with each other. Down the line about 3 months FNB picked up there mistake and wanted the funds back. What did Discovery do, they just released it without notifying me or asking my consent, this after the migration was done and dusted. No one including my self picked up the mistake, only when I was standing embarrassed at the supermarket with a card declining. I can understand the mistake and it could of been resolve but what is upsetting me is that I wasn't even contacted about this firstly and that they just went ahead giving another bank just the fund like that, and it was done manually. This all happened 3 month after the migration where the two banks was separate. Its like any bank can ask them for money and the will just give it to them. I requested documentation and t & c that they where allowed to this, but they can't provide it. I requested those funds to be returned into the card then I will resolve the matter with FNB, but they don't want to that. But despite being two separate bank they still refer back to FNB. I was helped by Tammy and I just get the same story over and over and the best is that I received a email after this stating "your security remains our top priority", but they just do on there side what they want. It was also side that they want to keep there relationship with FNB good, but what about the relationship with there client. I'm taking this matter further and will inform everyone about what happened to me.
