Why don’t allow capitec debit orders?
Discovery you have disappointed me.I have been using discovery bank for 10 months now until today I will no longer use it.I went to Capitec Bank for a loan that I have been planning for a while and they said they cannot offer me the loan because discovery bank does not accept capitec debit orders.

The reason for this is that Capitec Bank use NAEDO (Non authenticated early debit order) services to collect repayments and Discovery Bank does not participate in that service.
As a result of this, Discovery Bank does not have a mandate agreement with Capitec Bank for them to debit clients’ Discovery Bank accounts.
Unfortunately, according to PASA (Payments Association of South Africa) Capitec can choose not to provide credit to customers if the repayment cannot be collected via NAEDO services.
