*****ULENT BANK ACC, CANNOT CHANGE CELL NUMBER, POPI ACT VIOLATIONS

What a mission with this place just to change a cellphone number. A ***** and POPI Act Violation Bank account opened in my name with my full credentials without my knowledge I cannot change a simple cellphone number on my discovery profile because of this. I am FUMING since this bank is useless Call centre agent Raymor Fortuin told me on 04.08.2025 to "shhht" So unprofessional

DISCOVERY BANK PLEASE ADVISE WHY I CANT CHANGE MY ****EN NUMBER ALSO ADVISE WHO OPENED THIS ACCOUNT BECAUSE IT SURELY WASN'T ME.

I am fuming
Opening bank acc in my name and brushing it off as if it is nothing and yet sharing my details and complaint with my management is not on.

How on earth can you not just change a cellphone number on my profile
I was on the phone for more than 2 hours on tuesday
I will call one of the directors
And i will go to saps because its a contravention of the popi act by opening a bank acc without my approval or consent.

No one called me. 6 calls later and my cellphone number hasn't been changed by either bank or discovery so i can log in and receive my OTP. What a ****en mess. I am really fuming. And after l closing the bank acc i didnt open twice you mother ****ers still keeps it open. I have reached out to your directors deon viljoen anf barry swartzberg on social media and at their offices. If you cant even change a cellphone number what else will you mess up

Your lady who called me actually was extremely rude and hung up on me. Besides not being able to resolve a simple issue you have trained staff to be rude and utterly disrespectful. No matter how angry i might have been, i had reason to be. Your bank opened an account without my permission and i have been dealing with another bank on *****ulent activity causing me to panic. However your bank just doesnt care ..as long as you make money.

I want the name of the lady who hung up on me and i want her disciplined.
