Turn around time for application

I app**** for a credit card with discovery bank and I was asked too upload my proof of income of which I did and then received an email same day for additional documents that I had too upload which are my three payslips..It’s been a week now and I haven’t heard anything the call center is completely useless because they can’t tell me how far is my application.At first I was told too give it three days after three days I called them had to be on hold for 10 minutes too be on hold again waiting for them to tell me what’s wrong and still nothing.The reason why we apply for credit at this time is because we need it and not for fun.There is completely no communication from this bank at all I just want too know if I’m approved or not.
