Trying to close an old account
<p>I had a discovery blue credit card a few years ago. Discovery and Fnb added additional charges and said I owed them R4000. I stopped the card as they couldn't verify how the got the charges. I stopped paying and they went and deducted direct from the bank account the full amount outstanding.</p> <p>they forcefully settled the account. I have been asking them to close the account as it still show up on my credit profile as open</p>

They have updated the system on theri side and cancelled the card, the are upating the credit bureaus of such. I now have to wait thre months.
