Thanks for reaching out to us.
Once your application has been completed, your account fully FICA'd, and opened, your account would be active from that point.
At this stage you can make EFT's into and out of your account, you can create a virtual card and use it for transactions, as well as shop online with your Miles.
This also speaks to our terms and conditions which state " You must pay us the monthly account fee whether or not you use the account"
Hence we can log the account closure but no fees will be cancelled.
Kindly confirm if you would like us to continue with your account closure request.
