Think twice before moving to Discovery bank

After having a discovery credit card for a number of years I moved across to Discovery Bank. The process was seamless but then came the catch - they automatically upped the credit interest rate. What is the incentive to move across to the bank when they do this? Tried to cancel the move to their bank but that's no longer possible. Solution - close the account and don't give them a cent more!
