Shocking disservice

My review below refers. Despite the fact that Discovery Card has on numerous occasions messed me around, **** to me about not having documents (only to miraculously find them after I call) and made me run after them for my own money, they are still refusing to make contact with me about the money that was taken from my account. They have now passed the buck to FNB.

ORIGINAL REVIEW: A transaction was taken off twice on my card. Unlike FNB who call you immediately when duplicate transactions are put through, Discovery did not give me a warning of any sort. Luckily I checked my statement and discovered the issue. I tried on a few occasions to mail them, with no response.

On 29 November 2019 I eventually called and spoke to Bernice, who sent me the dispute form. I sent the completed form along with photos of my receipts back on the same day.

On 9 December I called to check why I had had no response again. A few days later Craig contacted me to apologise, stating they had not received the form. He then checked and "found" it and promised to sort this out within 21 days.

On 21 Jan, I called again after having heard nothing. Shaquille told me that the admin team said my form was eligible. Of course after all this time they didnt even bother letting me know that there was an issue. I refuted this saying that i had sent them a photo of the form, so there was no way it was eligible. I resent the exact same email to Shaquille, who confirmed that he could read it clearly.

Its now been 2 months since my first email and Discovery is just holding on to my money. I am now convinced that the dispute is really an error on YOUR side and not the vendor. Clearly you took the amount off my account twice. Your service is complete BS. You are dishonest and uncaring and I cannot wait to close this account.

Hi Nicole

I have waited more than 2 months now. You should've escalated this the first time you "lost" my papers. You should've escalated again when you disputed team didn't even give me feedback that they supposedly couldn't read the form (even though your agent could do so easily). This is downright ridiculous now.

To think I considered taking up your banking and insurance offers!

Nicole, you guys are really irritating me. I submitted a request for the credit to be transferred weeks ago! It should have been R100 more than you suggest, but of course you will ***** the last bit from me too. I even received confirmation that the refund was processed, except that I of course never received the money. Because you are *******.

As promised I am busy closing all of my Discovery products. I can only imagine how much trouble I could be in if my life were ever in danger.
