RICA issues
When I started an account last year, I had trouble uploading my proof of address. As a result, I was charged for both account and vitality fees, and my account was frozen. If you wish to move banks, give it some thought. I was informed that before I can shut the account, I must pay off all outstanding debt, yet I haven't even enjoyed using it.

Thanks for reaching out to us.
I have looked into your profile, and I can see that you chose to verify your residential address using Geolocate.
We were unable to verify your residential address, using Geolocate, that is why we need you to upload your proof of residence document so that we can manually verify your residential address.
Once you have uploaded your proof of address you will then be able to use your account.
Proof of residence document can be any one of the below reflecting your name, within last the three months and all details visibly clear:
- Personal Bank statement.
- Retail Account.
- Utility Bill.
- Affidavit (from a Police Station or Commissioner of Oaths).
- Telephone Account.
- Lease agreement.
- SARS Documents.
- Television.
Thanks for reaching out to us.
