Remove Discovery Vitality
I've recently migrated from FNB and now got the new Discovery Banking application. Since the migration, Vitality has been activated at R30 per month. I have absolutely no use for the Discovery's vitality service, and it was previously disabled while FNB administered my account. Could you please disable it with immediate effect. - This request I logged in September and there's still no action.

Thank you for responding to my Hello Peter request yesterday. No I do not want to phone, I prefer to have banking in writing, and at present there is no other may to communicate with your bank than here. unbelievable. The Consumer Protection Act No. 68 of 2008 states the following: ‘‘loyalty programme’’ means any arrangement or scheme in the ordinary course of business, in terms of which a supplier of goods or services, association of such suppliers, or other person on behalf of or in association with any such suppliers, offers or grants to a consumer any loyalty credit or award in connection with a transaction or an agreement;”
Section 35 (3) (C) states “the steps required by a consumer to participate in the programme or to receive any benefit in terms of the programme;“ This means that the consumer has the ability to choose to participate after being presented the specifics. The Act does not make reference anywhere that a loyalty program is compulsory to the consumer. Please rectify immediately.
And you are welcome to email me, just like all my other banks have done for many years.
