Reg: My history of unsuccessful upgrade attempts for 2 years
The Famous words of Discovery should be."The Back end Team is working on it. They should advertise using that line"
This is with regards to my service dissatisfaction about the fact that I am NOT being upgraded from a Gold card with Zero Credit to another colour with an actual credit limit.
For the short history, I have been using a Discovery Credit Card [Blue] right from Dec 2018 to Oct 2019, the initial credit account was opened with Blue. And then I tried to upgrade to Platinum CC from around May 2019 onwards. My steps regarding that upgrade were unsuccessful. Around Sep 2019, one of the Discovery CC consultants suggested me to open a bank account to find out I can get a Discovery Bank CC with a credit limit. After one month of process, I finally got provided with an account, the account provided was Gold with Zero credit limit account.
From the date, I was in the call once in a month with the consultants to find out if the feature in the Bank system to upgrade my account colour was rolled out. At first, the consultants use to tell me that it will be available in the next two or three weeks. But for the last two months, what I use to hear from your consultants that they are uncertain about the rollout process.
I even mentioned to the consultant that I am dissatisfied and I am planning to close the account, the consultant said I can go ahead. I certainly felt sad about a consultant about customer service redressal.
