Ongoing TFSA Transfer Delay

I have been trying to transfer my TFSA from Discovery to Easy Equities since 6 March 2025, and to date, there has been absolutely no progress.

Easy Equities has repeatedly requested that Discovery revise the date on the transfer certificate, something that should be straightforward. Yet despite countless emails and phone calls, Discovery has failed to take any action. This delay is entirely unacceptable.

This experience highlights why many people still prefer banks with physical branches, because when you’re standing in front of someone, you’re not so easily ignored. With digital platforms, it’s far too easy to leave a customer waiting indefinitely, invisible and unresolved.
