One service channel bank with a broken pipe

This is an old incident that could never be resolved so I am busy paying off the card to close the account by year end. In a nutshell, I HAD to migrate from the well managed, problem free FNB to the inefficient Discovery Bank. Everything was fine until in Feb I was required to upload the selfie to confirm my ID and around that time my app refused to start up. Logged the ticket, sent the supporting screen shots etc and ticket was promptly closed despite me calling and saying it was never resolved. Did everything from updating chrome to clearing application and data cache to uninstalling and re-installing to trying 3 mobile data networks as well as my home fibre network and no luck. After all the wasted time i asked them to pause the card indefitely. Now, I normally xfer to the saving account in advcance and only xfer to card once the bill runs. So despite me calling them a few weeks before monthly bill date to warn that I would not be able to transfer and even after the bill date they were unable to transfer the funds from their end. That was about 4 to 6 weeks of me calling more than once per week. One of the reasons given was that the back office staff refused to make the transfer. The next bill run came and credit control started to harass me. After I explained to credit control and they saw how long the funds was already sitting, they managed to get the funds transferred from the savings to the card. My card is still paused and once a month I call in to get them to email the statement and then I make an EFT directly into the card. I pay 15% of my limit per month and I currently owe 60% of my limit. It's surprising they still charge me the service fee on the savings account despite me not needing it or being able to use it anymore. What they should do is every month send me the statements without me needing to call in and they should close the savings account and stop charging me a service fee. Just need to ensure 4 more bill runs at the most!
