NON-DELIVERY of replacement credit card

It seems that FNB combined with CCD Couriers who deliver credit cards on their behalf, prefer to make it virtually impossible to actually deliver your REPLACEMENT credit card to you.<br> <br> At issue is the FICA requirement for proof of residence (PoR). Given the incompetence of the Post Office, my options available to provide PoR are limited to statements from other banks that I receive via email.<br> <br> When providing a printed copy of such a statement as a PoR, the transaction details are my private business. However, it seems that FNB in their infinite wisdom have decreed that unless the statement includes the transaction details (which I blanked out by the simple method of covering them with a blank sheet and copying the statement), then it is not acceptable as a PoR.<br> <br> This has led to CCD couriers refusing to deliver my card to me. FNB need to rethink their processes, since the right to privacy is certainly not something most people are prepared to compromise on.<br> <br> They are likely to lose many customers over this unrealistic expectation on their behalf - including me.
