No Words for the way Discovery robs customers!!!!

I recently got a discovery credit card. Note its the one that i have to put money into to use. Last month this was sitting at minus R781! I asked for a recon and still did not make sense and spoke to a consultant who also could not make sense of this. Gives me ******* about making sure i have enough funds and that when the consumer banks it etc it affects the account Please explain if i am putting money into my account to make sure there is enough funds there for the funds to go off. The funds go off and sits in pending and cant be touched waiting to be banked. If i dont have funds the transaction wont go off!! Then how can it be if i making sure there is enough for every transaction then when the money is banked my account is at a minus!! What happened to money sitting in pending!! This month the same thing!! The account is at -R571 and i ask for a recon and get a stupid response saying the account is over drawn!! How can that be when i dont have a draft or overdraw account!!! No one can explain what these are for!! But my fnb account is debited for these transactions and i must just pay it with no explanation This is ridiculous!!! Discovery just robs their customers with everything. Biggest mistake made moving everything over to Discovery and its time to reconsider moving back to Momentum!!! Cant be robbing customers this way!!

Thank you for your comment.

As advised on email, some merchants do not reserve the amount spent therefore the amount only gets deducted from your account once they bank the transaction. Unfortunately we do not have control on how merchants choose to process transactions but we are forced to honour all transactions that are processed successfully on your Discovery Card which then may push your account over limit.

Please note that all Internet Transfer Payments (EFTs) take up to four working days to reflect in your account.

Best Regards
