No service whatsoever. Phoned on 3 consecutive days ( 3 ref numbers) and sent one e mail. Don't want to to phone me ( like they did after my last review on HelloPeter). They just need to e mail me to get my FNB ban

I'm unable to add my Discovery credit card to apple pay. Had no problem with FNB or Capitec or Nedbank card. I phoned the bank on Wed 3 Jan 2024 and got a ref number. Heard nothing. Phoned Thursday 4 January . Got another ref number. Heard nothing. Phoned Friday 5 Dec 2024. Asked the bank to please close my account if problem not resolved by Monday . Heard nothing. E mailed them today- no response. Please will you ask Discovery to close my account with immediately . They can e mail me to get information on where to transfer the money in the account to.; Fortunately I have accounts at other banks. Discovery bank obviously don't need me as a client . Please ask them not to phone me to apologise- it's much too late for that

Hi Dr.Hugh

I am sorry you are having such an experience with us.

I see on one of the cases you mentioned above, feedback says you need to add a virtual card to see if that works, please confirm if you have tried this?

Are you serious ? I was asked to e mail screen shots of virtual card and the error message ( I was also asked to enter the card manually which did not work ). I sent the mail and the response was : "This an automated response. We only use this e mail address to acknowledge that we received your e mail. If you any other queries please call ***". Does anyone believe that I'm going to call the bank a fourth time ? Why ask me to e mail photos if no one is going to to look at them ? Please e mail me so I can give you my FNB account details for you transfer the money in Disco Bank to. I am self employed as a doctor and and I'd rather be be productive than deal with bank that gives a strong impression of ineptitude

I will be looking into the emails you sent with the screenshots.

I am sorry this is resulting in your account closure, our product operations team will email you, where you need to send your FNB account details.
