No follow-up or any customer service from this bank

I am totally disgusted with how Discovery Bank does their business. I was de*****ed on my account in June 2023 and requested for the account to be closed over the phone and then again in October 2023 asked via email if this has been done as I was unemployed only to find out in January 2024 that nothing was done. I then did this whole process again over the phone and over email then only to see, yet again, today that this still has not been done. To date I have not received any phone calls to ask as to why there is no money going into the account anymore either. Other banks would call after 3 months of seeing that no money is being sent into the account any longer, but Discovery Bank just seems to have the account stay open and transaction fees carry on going off each and every month even when the account was requested to be closed. This is appalling to say the least and I will never do or recommend Discovery Bank to anyone again. And here I thought that maybe I will open an account again as I was really happy with the bank, but not anymore.
