NEW ACCOUNT AND CLOSED WITHIN 7 DAYS WITHOUT MY PERMISSIION

I requested a new card with Discovery Bank, I finally collected this on the 6th of April. I received info today to inform me that my card is being closed and my money refunded. how on earth is this possible to have received a new card and 1 week later to have it closed????? i have been trying to get hold of customer services to resolve this matter and no response!!!!!
