Money went missing, not priority for Discovery

How is it possible that it takes Discovery bank almost 2 months to trace a payment, how can it be so difficult to just inform me where a payment has gone. Money not in my account, money not in recipients account, most likely somewhere in Discovery account and they are getting interest.
