Money is Air :(

Does it really takes weeks to identify where did the money disappeared when refund from the CC merchant have done the refund successfully ?? What is the benefit of having sophisticated systems when it doesn't make business process seamless and smooth. The value of refund is too high.....Plz plz can we expedite.
