Misleading Discovery Miles promo

They have a misleading ad on social media claiming that if you open a credit card account with them and purchase something within 30 days using a virtual card, you will get 5000 discovery miles, I did all that and it has been over 30 days and my Discovery miles balance is still on 1, I called and spoke to one of their bankers last week and she said she never heard of such a promotion since she's been employed with Discovery bank, I sounded like a fool on the phone and the poor lady further went out to get assistance regarding this and she came back with the same answer. I do like banking with them, to be honest, but this is not the right way for them to lure clients to take up their services.
