Miles not working to make purchase

Hi. Tried making a purchase on Black Friday using my miles. The teansaction did not go through apparently but my Miles got deducted. Tried sorting it out yesterday and was told I will get a letter that my Miles will be allocated. Instead my Miles was reversed and my order on Takealot got cancelled. Why did I not get a letter? Thanks Discovery for making me miss the great specials on Black Friday.

Can I please get a urgent response on why I did not get my letter that my miles would be allocated. If i was told it was going to be reversed i could have made another plan on paying for my purchase but i thought it wa spaid for with my Miles Refernece numbers for my querries: ********** ********** 615961 Kilan Stoop
