Made me feel like a ********
I recently went through the arduous task of applying for a Discovery credit card. The benefits looked good, and being a discovery health member for the past 20 years, I thought this would be a good thing. Oh how wrong I was. I am a provisional tax payer,a clinical psychologist, so there appears to be some confusion as to how to deal with us mear mortals. After having submitted the nessesary documents - there was more confusion around this. I was told to get an accounting firm/accountant to confirm my income - this I did to my own expense. The problem was I never dealt with the same person - was always shopped around to whoever answered the email at the time. Then I had to go through my same story and try and prove once again I was legit. After a while I felt that I was being regarded as a ******** with malicious intent. I was eventuallyoffered the platinum card, 'your application has been successful' only for it to be all taken away the next day. Camaf has been recommended as a medical aid for professionals and this is looking good. Will also keep my FNB credit card, at least they are in the buisness of banking and understand customer service. Shame on you Discovery!
