Lock Down Doesn't Exist for Discovery Card

Obviously Discovery Card have no clue that we are in lockdown and that life is not happening the way we are used to. They are due to deliver new cards to my address. Firstly, they require proof of residence - I haven't received an account from City of Cape Town and the latest account I have was ONE DAY over their limit. Secondly, my id was ****** so I couldn't produce that. I have a current SA Passport and a current SA Driving Licence but that's not good enough. They actually said that I must go to the Police Station and obtain an affadavit as to why I don't have a current SA id - SA Passport doesn't cut the mustard apparently. One would think they, given the difficult times we find ourselves in, that some how they could make a plan but no so I am closing my account with them and will be transferring my business elsewhere.
