KYC hell & incompetence

Several months ago my KYC hell started. I received messages asking me to log into the website or app to update my address details. I don't have the app so logged in to the website and did as requested. There were no prompts but I made sure all my information was up to date. The emails and smses continued. Eventually an agent called to ask me to verify over the phone, I refused as per all banks advice not to give info over the phone, so she emailed me. I rep**** with all the necessary documentation and on the 12th of June I received an email saying thank you and that my details had been successfully updated. Then I started receiving 4 smses, and 4 emails, every Saturday morning between 00:30 and 01:30 threatening me with blocking my account. Annoying but I assumed it was an error. and would be resolved. Several weeks later I received an sms saying my account had been blocked. I phoned immediately and went through the process of explaining I had KYCed, I was advised they could see on the system I had and they would unblock my account and apologised. My card was active again but annoyingly the messages continued. Eventually after weeks of interrupted sleep I phoned again to beg them to stop messaging me in the middle of the night. I was advised I needed to KYC...so went through the process again of explaining that I already had. I was apologised to and assured the messages would stop. They did not. I finally laid a complaint with WASPA but the messages continued until early August when I received a message that the account had been locked. I assumed this must certainly be an error message after all my correspondence with Discovery already regarding this. Unfortunately not, my card was once again blocked, leaving me in a position where I was unable to make an important payment. Yet again I phoned Discovery, where I spent a considerable amount of time explaining the situation, and eventually emailing all the correspondence I had received regarding this situation to *** with the agent checking that they had received them all. I was assured the situation would be resolved, and a few days later when I tried it my card was once again unblocked. I would also like to point out, that despite ceaseless messages telling me to KYC and that my account had been blocked, I didn't receive any correspondence at all to advise the card was active again, I had to just try it and hope it had been activated. For one blissful week I received no correspondence from Discovery Bank at all. Unfortunately it was shortlived, on Saturday the 30th August at around 7am I received an sms and email telling me to "Complete KYC Address to unlock your accounts". I now have no idea whether my card is active or not. I have spent hours of my own time and airtime/money on this ridiculous situation. I have provided Discovery Bank with all the necessary documents they requested and yet I continue to be harassed and locked out of my card. If it is indeed blocked again I will be closing my account immediately.
