Just as sad as every other South African Bank.

I had heard such wonderful things about the green pastures awaiting those who join Discovery Bank. I don't know if I've ever even so disappointed. It seems they're just as useless as all the other south African banks. Howard was a Rockstar helping me get sorted out and pre-approved for a credit card. I submitted my documents and got rejected because of a probation contract (it needs to be 6 months long, mine is 3 - what on God's good earth is the difference?). Since it makes up less than 50% of my income I decided to appeal the decision without the contract. My application then got rejected on the exact same grounds - my contract is too short. I wish someone could make it make sense, but alas, here I am, stuck with FNB because rather the dismay you know than the dismay you don't.
