Interest charged.
Charging me interest of R205.13 for R60 short on my credit card payment!!! Wow what a money making business. I misread the amount of R5671.18 and paid R5611.18 in stead. Expensive mistake!

As per my email - when the full outstanding amount on a credit card is not settled, then interest is calculated on every single transaction from the date of the transaction. This is standard across the credit card industry and is why the interest was so high vs the small R60 mistake.
I do however understand that this was a mistake. I have sent you a debit order form which you can complete to ensure that any future finger-error doesn't result in the same interest charge again; and I am thus happy to write off the interest charged in this instance, knowing that you're covered for the future.
